Effective participatory science education in a diverse Latin American population

But science has long been given quick shrift in the first few years of school. Most elementary faculty lecturers have little scientific background and lots of say they feel unprepared to teach the topic properly, according to a national survey of science and arithmetic education conducted by a North Carolina research agency in 2012.
